The leaves are also often edged in a pink tint when grown outdoors. Devil’s Backbone prefers warm temperatures and likes to be grown in a small container. It can defoliate and go dormant during the cool of winter or during long dry spells. Provide full sun to bright light and allow to dry down thoroughly between thorough waterings.
