Tradescantia navicularis  or Chain Plant has unusual growth habits and moody burgundy foliage make it a wonderful addition to any plant collection. Tightly packed overlapping foliage adorn its upright stems and foliage on its trailing stems becomes more spaced out. When in bloom they produce a bright fuchsia flowers. This versatile house plant can be grown in a hanging basket, as a trailing plant at the base of a floor plant, or in a dish garden combination.
