Pregnant Onion, False Sea Onion is a curious, bulb like plant, which looks like an onion, but grows above ground. Small bulblets form on the sides and fall and sprout. It has long, trailing, strap-like apple green leaves which are semi-succulent and usually brown at the tips. It will form an extremely long flower spike with small, green and white blossoms. An excellent container plant for indoors. Provide some direct sun and allow to dry slightly between waterings. Can go dormant in the winter months if kept too dry. Sold in a 2.5″ pot 4.83 fl. Oz. (143 ml).
